Underbrush

Underbrushing Success

We spent many hours this November and December in our woodlines underbrushing some areas mainly to help improve air circulation and movement around a few of our most protected green complexes where stagnate air mixed with high temperatures fueled some very unfavorable grass growing conditions right before the 2012 John Deere Classic.  Ultimately it will improve the aesthetics and the playability of these areas as well. This work has been completed on holes 11,12, and 13.  We plan to complete a few more areas by this spring and look forward to reaping the benefits of our work come the golfing season of 2013!
