Winter Work

Refurbishing....

The guys have been staying busy this winter with many projects. Along with snow removal, they have been busy under-brushing select wooded areas that are important to the playability of the golf course during the John Deere Classic and for increased air movement around greens, cutting down some dead trees, washing and waxing of equipment, and refurbishing all of the course accessories just to name a few.  Tee markers, cart signs, story signs, hazard stakes, story/hole signs, ball washers, trash cans, water coolers, bunker rakes, and 150 yard posts are all refurbished every year. Below is a few action shots of the guys hard at work.

Roberto and Jose sanding the rust from the trash cans just in time for some new paint.
Mike and Ryan prepping the 150 yard posts.

Cody kickin' it old school with the manual planer.
